Month 8: 2d Animation/Physics

Not a lot to say this month, already about a week into my new classes. 2D animation was taught by an old Disney artist who was on his last month of teaching. Most of the classes were about an hour of talking about animation fundamentals, and 7 hours of drawing 20-80 pages that were then photographed onto a computer and animated. It was painful and tedious, but gave most of the students a keen understanding of timing and anticipation.

Here are some of the clips made including a 160 page flip book I did. Keep in mind most of them were kept very simple because we had to draw them so many times. The key was to make it animate well.

Not much to say about physics.... it helped me understand more of Big Bang theories jokes. It was actually really interesting, but probably not very interesting to read about.
This month I have composting fundamentals as well as fundamentals of animation. I have 1 day off the entire month!!!

Until next month =)

Some pics of the classroom. This is the class you see on all the Full Sail adds =o
